Google+ & Pinterest

I’m on them both! They’re a godsend.

Google+ gives you all the privacy in the world with all the organizational tools you until organization itself is improved upon once again.

Pinterest is my new inspiration resource! Designers from all fields spread their ideas and concepts with the click of a button, “Pin It.”

Dirt Cheap & Scrumptious: Recipe #1

I just picked up most of my groceries at Trader Joe’s and I am of course living on the college diet of really cheap food. You can get a great, as well as healthy, bang for your buck at Trader Joe’s.

Anywho, I concocted this sort of Phó with just a few ingredients and it was awesome! With all these ingredients, you can make at least 4 batches of this meal before you run out of ingredients.

2 packs of Ramen noodles

1 packet of Ramen beef stock powder

4-6 Green Onions, diced

1/8 cup Trader Joe’s Sun Dried Tomatoes

1/4 cup Baby Portabella Mushrooms, diced

Pour enough water in a pot to submerge 2 cubes of Ramen and bring it to a boil. Add Ramen noodles, followed by Ramen beef stock powder. As noodles start to become soft, add Green Onions, Sun Dried Tomatoes, and Baby Portabella Mushrooms. Cook for just a couple minutes, drain about half of the broth, and enjoy.

This serves as a decent meal just for myself, but I would say it could serve 1-2 people. I plan on adding thinly sliced lean beef in the future. I may also get fancy and do a seafood Phó with crab one day, as well. Either way, this is an extremely satisfying, QUICK, inexpensive, and wonderful bulk meal. Great for the College lifestyle!

7/10/11: I added thinly sliced Filet Mignon (from Kroger while it was on sale) to the mixture while the noodles boiled and it was incredible! It’s much more satisfying with the beef, in my own opinion, seeing as I haven’t really traversed the vegetarian lifestyle.

A True Artist: Tyler the Creator of the OFWGKTA

I have always admired people who speak the truth and do it in such a straight forward manner, but this is the first human being I have admired that is younger than I. Yet, not that age FUCKING matters.

This kid really has an understanding for what it means to appreciate being independent. Yes, I think its great that I was able to post this on July 4th and yes, Tyler deserves this kind of attention. He stands as a icon for the bridge of Punk ideology into the Hip Hop community.

As made reference to by the Creator himself, some people say he is selling out by getting big and showing up on TV. However, is it selling out when you purposefully make that decision to go about and be known. Many people want glory, but most people aren’t honest with themselves on how they get to that level. Tyler, on the other hand, is.

Tyler the Creator, I fist bump, nod my head, but not quite kneel, to you.
